School History
In 1958 there was opened primary school in Tūbausiai village in Albinas Lapas farmstead.
In 1959 there was established seven-year school in Kurmaičiai Soviet farm Office premises in Tūbausiai village.
In 1962 there was built a new building of school and there was settled Tūbausiai eight-year school.
In 1976 Tūbausiai eight-year school was closed, only primary classes remained there.
From 1976 until 1993 Tūbausiai primary school.
In 1993 primary school was reorganized into Tūbausiai nine-year school.
In 1995 it becomes the Basic school.
In 2002 Tūbausiai main school was reorganized into Kurmaičiai primary school together with kindergarten and prie-school groups.
In 2006 the renovation of Kurmaičiai primary school was begun.
On the 1st of September in 2007 the school was renovated, the sports gym was built, one more pre-school group was opened.
